    About My ProcesS: Floating and Clear Epoxy Rim

    Create a ravine for florals and epoxy

    Place natural elements, add epoxy and let set

    Shape bottom of bowl

    Use woodturning tools to shape bottom of bowl 

    and expose underside of rim

    Turn bowl around and complete inside of bowl

    Shape inside of bowl and expose top rim

    Sand and finish

    Sand the wood with traditional sand paper; 

    use Micro MESH sanding pads to get the epoxy nice and clear

    About Me

    I work with wood because each piece of timber is unique, I find the varying lines of the grain to be absolutely beautiful, and I delight in the scent of wood shavings. I turn wood because I find symmetry to be so pleasing to my eye.
